Das Legoland Discovery Center ist ein Indoor-Spielplatz in der Neuen Mitte Oberhausen, dessen zentrales Element das Einkaufszentrum Centro ist. Vor dem Eingang des Discovery Centers steht eine riesige, dreidimensionale Giraffe aus Legosteinen. Sie dient nicht nur als beliebtes Fotomotiv, sondern soll vor allem Besucher anlocken und auf das Discovery Center hinweisen. Insbesondere Besucher des Einkaufszentrums sehen auf dem Weg zu den Geschäften die große Giraffe bereits aus der Ferne.

Legoland Discovery Center is an indoor playground in the New Center of Oberhausen, whose central element is the shopping mall Centro. In front of the entrance of the Discovery Center is a giant, three-dimensional giraffe made of Lego bricks. Not only does it serve as a popular photo opportunity, but also attracts visitors and points to the Discovery Center. In particular, visitors to the shopping mall will see the huge giraffe from afar on their way to the shops.
