This benchmark is located along the Union Pacific Railroad near Willamette Pass, Oregon, at the west end of the Cascade Summit tunnel (also known as the East Portal of Tunnel #3). The cap is set vertically in the northern wing wall of the tunnel about 4 feet above tunnel floor.
