The Blue River Legion has a good sized building, considering that the Town of Blue River has a population under 400. The Blue River Legion appears to remain a quite active branch, offering support and assistance to local veterans and their families with programs offered through the national organization.
The branch is involved with the Remembrance Day event and the Poppy promotion. They also provide services for fallen comrades at funerals and other local and regional events.
On the front of the Legion is a mural that features the different branches of the Canadian services with scenes from various wars.
