Duck Creek consists, primarily, of summer vacation homes. There is a gas station, a few cafes and an Ace hardware. To serve the community's religious needs there is only the Community church. Built in 1963, it is a log building on a concrete base. Stairs leading up to the front doors allow worshipers to enter between matching stained glass windows. The front entrance faces out across the meadow.
