"Jim and Martha Durbin opened the retail jewelry store in 1978. In October 1991, they moved to Kirkwood. Martha Durbin and a team of employees have helped to make the business a success. That team includes: Roger Rimel, an award-winning metalsmith and designer, who joined Durbin in 1995. Rimel’s creativity and vision have been pivotal to the store’s distinguished success. Tracy Alonzo, store manager, purchaser and lead sales director, has been with Durbin for 18 years. Theresa Duenke, sales representative, has been with Durbin for three years. She comes with over 30 years of experience in the jewelry industry and has a remarkable knowledge for the latest designs. Mark Douglas, a metalsmith with over 40 years of experience, has been with Durbin for two years as a full-time benchman. Sales Representative Jill Akins, who has been with Durbin for two years, comes with 30 years in the jewelry industry and is very talented with jewelry appraisals.
