From the junction with FR1028 W of Sisters, go E on ORE242 for about 0.7 miles. Turn right on FR1000-690 and continue 0.6 miles to the corner on the right.
Type of survey mark: 2-1/2" brass cap on iron pipe; rising 5" in a collar of stones

What indicators are near the mark to help people identify where it is located?:
The quarter corner is in an old pine plantation, about 260' S from the centerline of FR1510. A Carsonite post with a LAND SURVEY MARKER decal bears SSE, 24" distant. Miller added two BEARING OBJECTS, 1-1/2" aluminum caps on 24" lengths of 5/8" rebar, each with ATTENTION signs on nearby guard fence posts.
