Lang Pioneer Museum features 25+ restored and furnished buildings constructed between 1825 and 1899 and these outhouses are directly behind South Lake School.

South Lake School was a one-room school for children in grades 1 through 8. The outhouses are not usable today - the catchment basins have been removed. They are constructed of pine as is the fence that provides some privacy for users.
