The Mt. Terry Fox Rest Area is a large rest area with picnic tables, playground as well as large grassy areas and large trees. You can see Mt. Terry Fox as there is a free binocular available.
The rest area is very well maintained and worth a stop. There are clean restrooms near the entrance and several sign boards, one is a timeline about Terry Fox's heroic "Marathon of Hope".
