This was built for the Returned Soldiers, Sailors, and Airmen of World War Two (opening in 1955), while the RSL Sub-Branch actually was founded not long after World War One [ex-RSL website]. These days it has altered a bit having three extensions, and the addition of the 'Salute Brasserie'.
