As taken from their website: "Continuing the Felt Estate’s rich tradition of supporting sustainability and environmental stewardship, the Estate serves as the host of the Laketown Community Solar Garden. This 100 kW solar array, commissioned in December 2015, is providing enough electricity to power Felt Mansion, providing the equivalent environmental value of preserving 71 acres of forest. This project is offering residents and small businesses of Laketown, and the surrounding community, an opportunity to own solar even if they rent, have too much shade or find rooftop solar too costly."
