Built in 1968 on an E.R. Foden truck chassis, this apparatus has a couple of unusual features. The body, by Angus, is aluminum clad wood while the red sections of the body are fiberglass. This greatly reduced the weight of the machine and allowed a top speed of over 60. It has a removable Merryweather ladder which can be manually extended to 55' and used to reach fire victims. The truck served in the town of Retford until being retired in 1980.
