Kitty Jay's Grave, Manaton Devon UK - Weird Story Locations on Waymarking.com

It is reported that:-
This grave beside the road,is that of a female who had committed suicide, by hanging herself.
she came from a poor house worked at a local farm, got pregnant by the farmers son and cast aside.
Rather than return to life within the work houses, she hung herself within one of the farms barns.
Her body was found about 100 years later, not within consecrated land
Churches would not accept the remains to be interned so they were a grave was places on the boundaries of the local parishes.

What ever is the true story to the unfortunate young lady, what has happened is that:-
There are always fresh flowers at the grave side and up until recently no one knew who placed them there.
No visitor counld not leave the site without feeling sadness for her and hope that she is at peace
