Smithsonian Art Inventory

" A human skull, with a Conquistador's helmet, lies beside the skull of a longhorn. Both are half-buried. The tips of a spur protrude from the ground beneath the longhorn skull's proper right horn. The sculpture is mounted on a rectangular base that contains a time capsule."
