From the Crawfordsville, IN Journal Review 7/26/17: "The New Ross Park Board, with the support of community members, re-dedicated a Peace Pole in the Leland Cornett Memorial Nature Park. The pole, originally located on the property of Terry Feltner, was one of three Peace Poles placed in New Ross in June 1996. The New Ross Peace Pole is one of thousands of Peace Poles located around the world in more than 180 countries that serve as constant reminders for us to visualize and pray for world peace."
