#4018 is a 2-8-2 Mikado built in 1917 and was in use for 33 years until it made it's last run on Feb 29, 1952. It was donated to the city of Birmingham on May 29. 1952 and is now on display at the Sloss Furnaces National Historic Landmark, in Birmingham, Alabama. The loco is fenced but one end is open so you can go inside and see it up close, but no climbing please.
