"M G Cycles repairs and services cycles and is a main dealer for Dawes, Academy, Squish, Claud Butler, British Eagle, Bergamont, Schwinn, Python, Probike, AlphaPlus and also has many cycle spares and accessories, Helmets, lights, tubes, tyres, pumps, mudgards, bags, baskets to name just a few!
M G Cycles was established in July 2010 by Michael Godbold who has been in the cycle trade since the 1970s (training at the famous Raleigh factory in Nottingham). He has worked in Gorleston, Gt. Yarmouth and Beccles. He is the Michael who leased a children's clothes shop in Beccles with a partner in 1983 and opened a Five Star Raleigh Cycle Shop in its place. The partnership was dissolved in 1987 Michael bought the shop and became became the sole proprietor.
He sold his shop in Beccles over eighteen years ago, he continued to repair cycles from his mobile workshop until he opened his present shop in Earsham Sreet Bungay.
Michael Godbold of M G Cycles has many satisfied customers locally. He is well known to many local people who have both bought their cycles from him as well as having him repair and service them for many years.
He is now selling cycles to customers that are of a third generation. Michael would like to extend a warm welcome to all his customers old and new and invites them to call in for a browse at his shop located in Earsham Street, Bungay, Suffolk opposite the famous Butter Cross."
