Enterprise Bank arch - Leominster, Massachusetts USA - Freestanding Arches on Waymarking.com

An individual arch stands beside and apart from the Enterprise Bank branch on Main Street in Leominster, Massachusetts. It is north of the building and parallel to the road. The arch has two square columns approximately 12 feet tall and clad in red brick. Two dark brown classical columns with intricate capitals are just to the inner sides of the brick columns. The plain entablature looks to be constructed from slabs of cream-colored concrete and has a height of two feet.

A small plaza of light gray pavers lays to the west, between the arch and the sidewalk. Narrow, linear landscaping and a low brick wall extend north and south in line with and to the east of the arch. Peering east from the patio, an old train depot (which is now a liquor store) can be seen beyond the bank's blacktop parking lot. Looking west through the opening you'd see the Post Office.

There were no visible makers explaining the placement or significance of this freestanding arch.
