This welcome sign is on Main Street. They are "a little village with a big history" according to the slogan at the bottom of the history side of the sign.

The sign has a map, photos and history of Montour Falls.
The history goes back to the glaciers. It has a section on early inhabitants, time of tremendous growth and progress with a nod to the past.
