Woodall was a rural community that disappeared in 1917 when it merged with nearby Ellis Chapel to become Elwood, still with us today as a rural community.
A piece of bark on the side of the monument peels back to reveal "Enterprise Camp No. 1527", and the family name, "Willson", is on the plinth, with "We will meet again" above it. The inscription reads:
Robert C.
Willson
Born
Nov. 23, 1877,
Died
Feb. 7, 1905.
Was the inscription legible?: Yes
