The Marina is for use of boats that wish to moor either short term or long term. It is on the Trent and Mersey canal.
The marina also has a popular bar and restaurant which is open to visitors as well as boat owners. The marina has an entrance from the road where the boat stands and a footpath that leads from the canal to the marina.
Because of the marina's link to the canal the boat has lock gates in front and behind it, but is standing on land rather than in water.
