Op de grens met de gemeente Oploo, St.Anthonis en Ledeacker ligt in het Defensiekanaal een betonnen stuw annex verdeelwerk (S11). Deze behoort tot het oorspronkelijke ontwerp van het Defensiekanaal en dateert uit 1939. Door middel van het verdeelwerk kon de hoogte van de waterstand in het Defensiekanaal worden geregeld: overtollig water werd en wordt in oostelijke richting naar het Afleidingskanaal afgevoerd en uiteindelijk, via de Molenbeek, op de Maas geloosd. Het verdeelwerk wordt verdedigd door de S-kazemat K59.

On the border with the municipality of Oploo, St.Anthonis and Ledeacker, there is a concrete weir and distribution work in the Defense Canal (S11). This is part of the original design of the Defense channel and dates from 1939. Through the distribution work the height of the water level in the Defense channel could be regulated: surplus water was and is drained to the east towards the Diversion channel and finally, via the Molenbeek, discharged on the Maas. The distribution work is defended by the S-casemate K59
