White marble sculptures of a pair of sphinx-couchant can be found along Myrtle Path between Cypress and Maple Avenues in Grove Street Cemetery. There is no inscription and they don't appear to be associated with any grave although they are equidistant from a stone bench with only the name Chiarelli inscribed on the front.

The two sculptures are very similar except the westermost sphinx has her head looking slightly to her right while the easternmost sphinx is looking slightly to her left. Each feature a beautiful female face, iconic headdress, and the body of a winged lion. The figures are lying in the couchant position their with front paws extended forward. The pair are 37 feet apart with the easternmost sphinx located at N41° 18.828; W72° 55.542.
