Authorities say a man who felt he needed emergency attention crashed into the side of a northwest Oklahoma City hospital.
Around 7:15 a.m. on Monday, emergency crews were called to the accident at St. Anthony’s Hospital, located near N.W. 10th St. and Classen Blvd.
Investigators say the driver felt he was ‘in need of immediate medical care,’ so he drove himself to the hospital. The driver told first responders that he felt he was going to die, so he headed to the emergency room.
When he arrived, he lost control of his car and crashed through the glass wall into the emergency department.
Fortunately, no one inside was injured.
The driver has been admitted to the hospital for observation.
