The chronogram is located on the sandstone pedestal.
The inscription is somewhat dilapidated. The Latin text mentions the first name of Saint John of Nepomuk:

Saint John of Nepomuk (or John Nepomucene) [Czech: Jan Nepomucký; German: Johannes Nepomuk; Latin: Ioannes (or Ioannis) Nepomucenus (c. 1345 – March 20, 1393) is the saint of Bohemia (Czech Republic), who was drowned in the Vltava river at the behest of Wenceslaus, King of the Romans and King of Bohemia. Later accounts state that he was the confessor of the queen of Bohemia and he refused to divulge the secrets of the confessional. On the basis of this account, John of Nepomuk is considered the first martyr of the Seal of the Confessional, a patron against calumnies and, because of the manner of his death, a protector from floods and drowning.

Pískovcová socha sv. Jana Nepomuckého je situovaná v jižní cásti mesta, nad silnicí do Kralup nad Vltavou. Socha stojí naproti bývalému špitálu. Socha umístená na tríetážovém, bohate zdobeném a tvarovaném podstavci je obklopena kamenným zábradlím ctvercového pudorysu s konkávne probranými rohy. Zábradlí tvorí konkávne tvarované nárožní pilírky, ke kterým puvodne priléhaly balustrády. Dodnes se dochovala pouze jedna balustráda na jižní strane zábradlí, další pole jsou dnes volná, provizorne podeprená železným nosníkem. Na prední severní strane, smerem k mestu, je zábradlí otevrené. Rovnou plochu pilírku zdobí reliéfne pojatý motiv pletence. Na podstavci sochy se tektonicky uplatnují konzoly s volutovými hlavicemi, plochy strední cásti zdobí cabrakové závesy.
