FR La légende raconte que pour échapper à la terreur de la fin du XIV°siècle, un moine de l'Abbaye de Valsaintes aurait sauté à cheval d'un des rochers qui surplombent le Calavon : le saut du Moine!
Le Calavon, encore petit ruisseau rencontre ici un de ses affluent, le ruisseau d'Aiguebelle et devient une rivière qui se jette du haut de ces 3,5 à 4 m de haut de cette cascade. En amont, de nombreux trous ont été creusés dans la roche par l'érosion.



EN Legend has it that to escape the terror of the late 14th century, a monk from the Abbey of Valsaintes jumped on horseback from one of the rocks overlooking Calavon: the monk's jump!
The Calavon, still a small stream, meets here one of its tributaries, the Aiguebelle stream and becomes a river that flows from the top of these 3.5 to 4 m high of this waterfall. Upstream, many holes have been dug in the rock by erosion.
