To get here you have to follow snowmobile or tractor trails from the nearby farmer's fields into the woods. Maybe those tractor trails got to be too much for the Jeep. Maybe someone strayed off a trail just too much. Was there alcohol involved? Who knows? It's just there now, rusting away and slowly being stripped of anything useful.
