"The historic vault directly under this plaque and extends towards the city hall. It is 33 inches wide...89 inches long...28 inches high. The obelisk is a replica od Washington's Monument in Washington Dc and believed to be the only one of its type on the west coasrt. It is 10 ft high and 18 inches wide at the base. The centurlon time vault and obelisk were presented as a gift to the city of Glendora September 30, 1961 in belhalf of the Glendora Historical Society."
