"A couple of years ago, when In-N-Out decided to demolish an old restaurant building in the corner of Francisquito Avenue and Garvey Avenue, local authorities were "in shock", some customers, in "tears" and others even tried unsuccesfully to collect bricks as souvenirs.

They thought the company was destroying the oldest and first In-N-Out Burger building. But "they were so wrong," said Robert Benbow to Patch, curator of the Baldwin Park Museum.

The real first and original In-N-Out was demolished before the construction of the I-10 Freeway.

But now, they might have a reason to cheer up.

In-N-Out is building a replica of the original first In-N-Out burger in the same location where the old building was demolished." (visit link)
