Auf dem Freiheitsplatz in Mödling steht eine Pestsäule, die 1714 zum Dank für das Ende der Pest errichtet wurde. Die Pest hatte im Jahre 1713 in Mödling 90 Opfer gefordert. Auf einer Seite der Säule ist eine lateinische Inschrift, die zwei Chronogramme enthält, welche beide auf das Jahr 1713 hinweisen. Die römischen Zahlen sind zur Verdeutlichung größer geschrieben. Die gesamte Inschrift lautet:

On the Freiheitsplatz (freedom square) in Mödling there is a plague column which was erected in 1714 to thank for the end of the plague. The plague claimed 90 victims in Mödling in 1713. On one side of the column there is a Latin inscription containing two chronograms, both of which refer to the year 1713. The Roman numerals are written larger for clarification. The entire inscription reads:
