"Die Regentrude" is an art fairy tale by the German poet Theodor Storm. It dates back to 1863.

The Regentrude was first published in the Illustrierte Zeitung No. 43, published in Leipzig in 1864. Storm wrote the fairy tale in Heiligenstadt, Christmas 1863, when he had to keep his bed because of rubella. The story was written without long pauses. He was inspired by the picturesque Scheuche, a waterfall of the small river Geislede in today's Kurpark of Heilbad Heiligenstadt.

In 1984 the Reinbek artist Hans-Werner Könecke (*1940) created a bronze fountain sculpture with this name. The sculpture shows the fairy tale figure protecting her arm around the water fetching farm girl Maren.
The bronze stands on the square in front of the Norderstedt town hall.
