The Basilica and Marian Sanctuary of Our Lady of the Pine is located on the island of Gran Canaria (Canary Islands, Spain), in the municipality of Teror. It is located in the main square of the town, the Plaza de Nuestra Señora del Pino. It is one of the most important spiritual temples in the Canary Islands and the first Marian temple also in the Canary Islands to receive the title of basilica by the Holy See.
It is the third church on this site ( build 1760) and had to be repaired several times in the 19th and 20th centuries due to the unsuitable subsoil, clayey soil.
