Ordnance Survey benchmark on the top of Balmer Down between Falmer (near Brighton) and Lewes in East Sussex. The benchmark is situated within the South Downs National Park.
The marking has become very faint, so is barely visible. I have uploaded a second image in an attempt to make it clearer. It may be more visible on a brighter day with better lighting.
The benchmark is in the Ordnance Survey benchmark database with the following description: NBM P SE SIDE TK JUNC FENCE W FACE.
