In the Plaza de Guillermo Sureda in Arucas there is a monument to the artist. This monument stands in a pavilion of blue Arucas stone (blue granite).
A stone circle is supported by 8 round columns.
The stone circle is crowned by a filigree dome made of metal rods. The whole construction conveys the impression of a temple for the artist.

The pavilion was completed at the end of 1982.
