[FR] L'église est un bel édifice construit en brèche volcanique rouge. Il s'organise en trois vaisseaux d'égales hauteurs, voûtés d'arêtes sur doubleaux brisés, reposant sur des piliers carrés à demi-colonnes engagées.
Les chapiteaux à décor végétal dérivent du type à feuilles d'eau, et seuls ceux qui sont dans le chœur présentent un décor dérivé du corinthien.
Décrit comme édifice roman, cet ensemble à trois nefs pourrait être néanmoins daté de la fin du XIIIème siècle. En effet, un édifice ayant trois vaisseaux de même hauteur, voûtés d'arêtes, avec des décors de chapiteaux feuillagés à crosses, est difficilement antérieur à la deuxième moitié du XIIIéme siècle.
C'est dans la cour de cette église que vous trouverez plusieurs croix chrétienne dont celle-ci, la plus petite faites de béton.
[EN] The church is a beautiful building built in red volcanic breccia. It is organized in three vessels of equal heights, vaulted with edges on broken doubleaux, resting on square pillars with half-columns engaged.
The capitals with vegetal decoration are derived from the water-leaf type, and only those in the choir have Corinthian-inspired decor.
Described as a Romanesque building, this three-aisled ensemble could nevertheless be dated to the end of the 13th century. Indeed, a building with three vessels of the same height, vaulted edges, with decorations of capitals foliated crosses, is hardly prior to the second half of the thirteenth century.
It is in the courtyard of this church that you will find several Christian crosses including this one, the smallest made of stone.
