Das Eventschiff liegt im Osthafen im Berliner Stadtteil Treptow vor Anker. Als Veranstaltungsbereiche stehen die beiden eleganten Salons und die idyllische Dachterrasse zur Verfügung. Die Hoppetosse ist Schauplatz von stimmungsvollen Events aus privatem oder geschäftlichem Anlass.
Geschichte der Hoppetosse
Das Schiff ist im Jahr 1928 an der Ostsee gebaut worden und fuhr einige Jahre als Ausflugsdampfer über das Meer. Im Zweiten Weltkrieg wurde die Hoppetosse als Lazarettschiff genutzt. Kurz vor Kriegsende wurde es jedoch in Travemünde getroffen und ging unter. Ihr trauriges Ende auf dem Grund der Ostsee schien besiegelt zu sein. Doch schon bald nach dem Ende des Zweiten Weltkriegs barg man das Schiff und setzte es erneut zum Passagiertransport ein. Ende der 1990er Jahre kam es schließlich, zersägt in zwei Teile, nach Berlin. Dort wurde es im Osthafen wieder zusammengefügt und liegt nun neben dem Badeschiff der Arena Berlin.

History of the Hoppetosse
The ship was built in 1928 at the Baltic Sea and sailed for several years as an excursion steamer across the sea. During the Second World War the Hoppetosse was used as a hospital ship. Shortly before the end of the war it was hit in Travemünde and sank. Her sad end at the bottom of the Baltic Sea seemed to be sealed. But soon after the end of the Second World War the ship was recovered and used again for passenger transport. At the end of the 1990s it finally came to Berlin, sawed into two parts. There it was reassembled in the Osthafen and is now next to the Badeschiff of the Arena Berlin.
