Im rechtsrheinischen Teil des Freizeitparks Rheinaue wurde am 16.08.2018 auf dem Gelände einer ehemaligen Verkehrsschule ein neuer Skatepark eröffnet. Aktuell umfasst der Park 900 Quadratmeter Fläche und bietet Street-typische Elemente wie Rampen, Hügel, Treppen und Grinding-Geländer. Es ist geplant, den Skatepark in zwei weiteren Bauabschnitten noch um eine Bowl und einen Pumptrack zu erweitern, die Gesamtfläche wird dann 2.250 Quadratmeter betragen.

Betrieben wird der Skatepark genauso wie die Halfpipe auf der anderen Rheinseite vom Verein SuBCulture in Zusammenarbeit mit der Stadt Bonn. Es gibt eine Bar die Getränke und kleine Speisen anbietet. Dadurch ist es möglich, die Nutzung der Anlage kostenlos anzubieten.

Die Öffnungszeiten variieren je nach Wetter und Jahreszeit - bei meinem Besuch war die Anlage nur am Wochenende geöffnet. Entnehmt bitte aktuelle Informationen dazu von der Website des Betreibers. Dort gibt es auch aktuelle Ankündigungen von im Skatepark stattfindenden Veranstaltungen und Events.
In the right bank side of the park Freizeitpark Rheinaue a new skatepark was opened on 8/16/2018 on the site of a former traffic school. The park currently covers 900 square meters and features street-style elements such as ramps, hills, stairs and grinding railings. It is planned to expand the skatepark in two further stages with a bowl and a pump track, the total area will then be 2,250 square meters.

Like the halfpipe on the other side of the Rhine, the skatepark is operated by the association SuBCulture in cooperation with the city of Bonn. There is a bar offering drinks and snacks. This makes it possible to offer the use of the park for free.

The opening times vary depending on the weather and season - during my visit, the park was only open on weekends. Please refer to the operator's website for up-to-date information. There you can find also announcements of upcoming events being held at the skatepark.
