The Preuschoff Stadium is located since 1979 at the school campus of Meckenheim. It includes:
  • Turf soccer field
  • 400 meter circular running track
  • Long and high jump facilities
  • Equipment for shot put
  • Grandstand for spectators
  • Lighting of the track through lanterns and of the soccer field through floodlights (one-sided only)
The stadium is mainly used by the schools located at the school campus for school sports: the Konrad-Adenauer-Gymnasium, Theodor-Heuss-Realschule and Geschwister-Scholl Hauptschule. But also sports clubs use it regularly for training and for sporting events. Soccer matches of the county league, on the other hand, are played on the adjacent ash field.

The stadium is named after Dr. Hans-Georg Preuschoff. He was Mayor of Meckenheim from 1975 to 1998 and shaped the development of the town significantly. Among many projects he was involved in the construction of the school campus and sports center. He died in 1998.
