[DE] "Der am 11. März 1902 eröffnete U-Bahnhof der heutigen Linie U2 war einer der ersten unterirdischen U-Bahnhöfe der zu dem Zeitpunkt noch selbstständigen Stadt Charlottenburg. Er besitzt zwei annähernd in Ost-West-Richtung verlaufende Seitenbahnsteige, die als Unterpflasterbahn nur wenige Meter unter der Straßenoberfläche liegen. Diese Station ist nur von Zügen des Kleinprofil-Netzes befahrbar.
Der unter dem Bahnsteig der Linie U2 liegende Bahnsteig der Linie U9 unterquert den gesamten Bahnhofsvorplatz annähernd in Nord-Süd-Richtung. Diese Station für das Großprofil besitzt einen Mittelbahnsteig mit dem Hauptausgang an der Südseite und einem weiteren Ausgang an der Nordseite. Die gefliesten Wände des Bahnhofs sind mit Darstellungen von Tieren geschmückt, um den Bezug zum naheliegenden Zoo herzustellen. Beide U-Bahnhöfe liegen L-förmig zueinander."
[EN] "The underground station of today's U2 line, opened on 11 March 1902, was one of the first underground underground stations in the then independent city of Charlottenburg.
