Stained glass windows in St John the Evangelist chgurch, Shenton.

"in the west window of tower emblematic, in the north windows the evangelists in the medieval revival style. In the north transept, by Kempe: St. Michael and the archangels; the large figures are surrounded by smaller angels in the upper lights and heraldic emblems etc below. White and yellow colours predominate with peacock feather wings and sumptuous detail. It is of 1918, a memorial to Frederick Wollaston. In the east window, a small central lozenge of Christ carrying the cross within a vine scroll with emblematic design."
