Martin Luther King Jr. Monument and Quotes - Hackensack, NJ - Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. on Waymarking.com

On October 14, 2014, the installation of the seven foot bronze statue of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. was done on the Hackensack River Pathway as it crosses the Fairleigh Dickinson University campus in Hackensack. In October, 2016, they added a 36 foot long black granite wall cap to the Monument site, behind the statue. The polished black granite is engraved with quotes from Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

The artist of the sculpture is Richard Blake a master-sculptor with 35 years of success in public-art and sculpture.
