VFW Post 3656 - Bristow, OK - VFW Posts on Waymarking.com

VFW Post 3656 meets in a large concrete block building on Veterans Memorial Drive (W. 1st Street) at Country Club Drive. The post was established in 1968 and just recently celebrated their 50th anniversary.

The Post office is open Monday-Friday 9:00-5:00. Monthly meetings are held the first Tuesday at 7:00pm. Various events are held throughout the year, such as monthly flea markets, dinners and seasonal events such as the Turkey Shoot. The Post is honored to be the location of the National Wake Island Memorial which is located adjacent to the parking lot to the east of the building. East of that memorial is a large park area in which the Post has on display numerous items of military equipment.
