Salt Lake Wildlife Management Area - Mims, FL - The Great Florida Birding Trail on Waymarking.com

Thanks to the high salinity of the three lakes, South Lake, Salt Lake and Loughman Lake, a larger variety of birds than normal may be seen in the Salt Lake WMA. Per the state's website, there are more than 200 bird species typically found in this area. Joining the many birds are the normal feral pigs, alligators and gopher tortoises.
