In Walpole, in the downtown section, is the old Walpole Town Hall, which has a time capsule buried in the brick front.
The building is located along Main Street, at the intersection with Stone Street.
The capsule is visible next to the front door that faces Main Street. It is on the right and is about head height.
The front is made of red stone and has the following on it:
"250th Anniversary
1974
To Be Opened in
2024
[Seal of Walpole]"
