Translated from the above noted text:
In Roman mythology, Ceres, in Latin Ceres, is the goddess of agriculture, harvest and fertility. Her attributes were the sickle and the sheaf of wheat. She has no legend of her own and she takes up the myths of Demeter, the most famous of which is the search for her daughter, Proserpine, kidnapped by Pluto.
The mask of Ceres is located on the facade of Quebec's City Hall.
Other masks of the wall are of Athena, God of the Sea and a masculine divinity.
