Engine 6 is a KME truck. Purchased new, the truck is the first for the department that was on a custom built chassis. It is rated for 2000 gpm at 150 psi. It carries inch and three-quarter pre-connect attack lines in the two crosslay bays. In addition, the truck has a two and one-half inch pre-connect attack lines. Rear hose bed has six inch supply lines for connect to steamer connection at the hydrant. Ladders are housed in closed bays to protect them from the weather. Rear seats in the cab have self-contained breathing apparatus for the firefighters on board the truck
