Dieser Stromkasten steht auf dem Gehweg der Hemmesser Straße vor dem Mehrfamilien-Wohnhaus mit der Hausnummer 35. Es handelt sich um einen typischen Verteilerkasten, der von unbekannten, ortsansässigen Künstlern bunt bemalt wurde.

Das Motiv auf der Vorderseite des Stromkastens zeigt einen Vogel, einen Fisch und einen Löwen, die auf einer Tanzfläche tanzen. Eine Discokugel, Lichterketten und der bunte Boden vermitteln ein Disco-Gefühl.

Eine Seite des Stromkastens ist mit Landschafts- und Naturmotiven bemalt, die andere thematisiert die Städtepartnerschaft Bad Neuenahrs mit der belgischen Stadt Brasschaat: Neben zwei sich reichenden Händen aus den beiden Städten wird auch ein VW-Bus mit Jugendlichen gezeigt, die offenbar eine Reise in die Partnerstadt antreten.

Auf der Oberseite des Stromkastens sind bunte Puzzleteile abgebildte, die Rückseite ist unbemalt.

This electrical box stands on the sidewalk of the Hemmesser Straße in front of the multi-family residential house with the number 35. It is a typical power distribution box, which was colorfully painted by unknown, local artists.

The motif on the front of the box shows a bird, a fish and a lion dancing on a dance floor. A disco ball, fairy lights and the colorful floor give a disco feeling.

One side of the electricity box is painted with landscape and nature motifs, the other one focuses on the city partnership of Bad Neuenahr with the Belgian town of Brasschaat: In addition to two reaching hands from the two cities, a VW bus with young people is shown, apparently attending a trip to the partner city.

On the top of the box colorful puzzle pieces are pictured, the back is unpainted.
