The first Ebenezer Church was then built. The constructed of the second Ebenezer Church, St. Mary's St., began on February 10th 1837 and rebuilt after the earthquake of 1843. The church underwent major renovations in 1936 – 1937. It was once again rebuilt after the earthquake of 1974.
The two story brick building with limestone trim church has five bays on St. Mary's St and seven bays on each side. The second story features arched windows. In 1982 was declared an historical landmark.
