[DE] Die Ottilienquelle in Paderborn liegt im Nordwesten der Stadt in der Nähe der Pader in einem kleinen Waldgebiet. Der Weg dorthin ist ausgeschildert (siehe Foto). Die Quelle ist im europäischen Quellenatlas aufgeführt (siehe Ottilienquelle im Quellenatlas).

Die Ottilienquelle, die Trinkwasserqualität besitzt und 1986 eine Brunnenfassung erhielt, erinnert an die ehemalige „Curanstalt Inselbad". Das Sanatorium für chronische Lungenleiden hatte im 19. Jahrhundert einen guten internationalen Ruf. 1912 wurde es geschlossen, aber der Name erinnert noch heute an die Frau eines dankbaren Kommerzienrates aus Dortmund, die hier Heilung gefunden hatte. Neben dem gesunden Klima wurde auch das Wasser der Ottilienquelle als Kurmittel angewandt, ein relativ schwach mineralisiertes Na-Ca-Cl-HCO3-Wasser mit einer konstanten Temperatur von 18,1°C. Das Freibad wurde noch bis 1945 genutzt und das Wasser der Ottilienquelle bis 1965 als Tafelwasser abgefüllt. Die Quelle wurde dann 2013 neu angebohrt.
