Attached to the western end of the Davenport Fire Hall at 7th Street, this is a substation of the Lincoln County Sheriff Department. It appears to be unmanned the majority of the time. The main section of the fire hall to which it is attached appears to have been built in the early years of the 20th century, with this small addition attached in later years.

The main Lincoln County Sheriff Department, a much larger building which houses offices and the county jail, stands to the north of the Lincoln County Courthouse, across Sinclair Street, two blocks east and two blocks north from this station.
Type: Sub-Station (not always manned)

Visit Instructions:
To log a visit, you must post a photo of you in front of the building described, with your GPS in the photo. No drive by photos.

I have had NO problems with taking photos of Police stations but please respect the fact that some services may be nervous about having their photo taken and inquire as to why... I have found that once things are explained they are more than happy to let me photograph the building, crest, chief... (they are people too!)
