The monument was dedicated at the 100th anniversary of the battle. Saxony's Royal Mint in Muldenhütten issued a silver coin worth three German Reich Mark to commemorate the dedication of the monument and the 100th anniversary of the battle.
The coin shows the monument on the front side and the German Eagle on the rear. All pictures of the coin are in Wikipedia's public domain.
